A native New Yorker and life-long francophile, I’ve been visiting Paris for decades and am obsessed with her history and culture. After 20 years in the world of corporate real estate in New York City, I decided to take the leap to fulfill my dream of living in Paris in 2019. What started as the place I could spend a one-year sabbatical has, more than four years later, become my new home.
Paris is filled with secrets. Sure, you know about the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame - but do you know how the Mona Lisa became famous or how the Sacre Coeur actually cleans itself?

Having spent several lockdowns during the pandemic with no other option than wandering Paris’s quiet streets and discovering her centuries of history I feel that Paris has become like an old friend. And I think she’ll forgive me for sharing some of her secrets with you.

An American in Paris. I live in the 16th arrondissement with my husband, 2 kids and our dog (Felix Felicis). Before moving to Paris, I spent nearly every Thanksgiving in Paris with my young family, (first as toddlers and now elementary and tween aged) so I am well-versed in navigating this city with family and kids in tow. I've become an expert at seeing this city through the eyes of kids and adults alike and would love to show you my city from an experienced mom's perspective.
